How best to support me

  • I really appreciate being helped (even in little ways) when I’m scrambling to pull something off (probably best to ask me what would help – don’t worry if you can’t at that time)
  • Please don’t interrupt when I’m working with a group – there is a lot of pieces being orchestrated to get the best out of our time together and someone popping in can make it tricky for us to reengage
  • If you have time, let me tell you what I’m up to cos here at Options I don’t really have a partner in crime. Talking helps me clarify my next steps and reflect on what needs changing …
  • If I have ear phones on its ok to interrupt if you need me but also realise this is my way of taking space so I can focus.
